Where Luxury Meets the Wild
Welcome to Vanaashrya, a leisure resort in the Aravalli hills, about 6 km from the Sariska Tiger Reserve's Tehla Gate. Head out on safari in the morning, then spend the rest of the day by the pool or at the spa.
Four Ways to Stay
Choose from 33 rooms across four types: cottages with a tented rooftop, villas with a glass-enclosed open shower, a three-bedroom kothi with its own pool, and suites with a bathtub.
Where to Eat & Drink
A multi-cuisine restaurant that opens at 7:00 AM and a vintage-inspired bar that opens at 11:00 AM.
Basil
Basil serves multi-cuisine food with authentic Rajasthani specialities, in earth-toned rooms that seat 45. The kitchen opens at 7:00 AM, with a buffet at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Cloud 9
Our vintage-inspired bar seats 30 and opens at 11:00 AM, so drop in for a classic cocktail, fine spirits, or a quiet drink in the evening.
Beyond Your Door
Head out on safari at first light. Between drives, take a camel cart ride, walk through the village, or catch the evening's cultural programme.
Married to the Forest
Two lawns with 13,500 sq ft between them, for weddings, corporate events, and family functions. You can also have the whole resort to yourselves.
Hospitality with Purpose
Living next to a tiger reserve means we have a duty to run the resort responsibly. These are the three pillars and nine commitments we hold ourselves to: on the land, with the people around us, and in how we run the resort.
Conservation
Protecting Sariska’s wildlife and the scrub it lives in.
Green Operations
Energy and water saved, waste cut, and gentler practice throughout.
Carbon Footprint
Fewer emissions through the choices we make about how we operate.
Continual Improvement
Learning, adapting, and improving how the resort is run.
Communication
Open and honest with guests, staff, and everyone we work with.
Community
Local livelihoods, local hiring, and the village at the boundary wall.
Guest Experience
Safe, authentic, and memorable stays for everyone who arrives.
Collaboration
Working with the people and the businesses around Tehla.
Commitment
Integrity, ethics, and accountability, held to on every booking.
In Their Words
We came for the tigers and stayed for the silence. On the third morning I realised I had not looked at my phone since we arrived, and nobody had needed me to.
The kitchen asked what we liked on the first evening and then never asked again—every meal after that simply arrived, and every one of them was the right one.
Our jeep was at the gate before light every morning and the same naturalist took us out each day. By the last drive he knew which pug marks we would stop for.
